Pig kissing all in the name of charity
He kissed a pig, but did he like it? That was the question on many people's lips after the recent Randalstown Tir Na Nog GAA club's charity fundraiser which saw Gerard Martin pucker up and plant the lips on a cute little piggy.
Six people were up for nomination to kiss a pig live on stage at the aptly named ‘Kiss the Pig Night’ which was held in the clubrooms on April 1. However it was all in the name of charity with money raised going to C-R-Y (Cardiac Risk in the Young).
The evening also featured a local version of the former hit tv show Blind Date.
All good fun and the excellent sum of £2,755 was raised.
