A large entry of 1023 cattle on offer at Clogher Mart on Saturday 21st November produced another very strong demand for quality lots in all sections.

In the fatstock ring 302 lots listed sold readily with cow heifers selling to £1755 for an 780kg Charolais to £225 per 100kg for an Armagh producer followed by a 690kg Limousin to £206 totalling £1421-40 for a Cookstown producer.

Beef cows sold to £1535-50 for a 830kg Simmental to £185 for a Seskinore producer followed by a 840kg Limousin to £182 totalling £1528-80 for an Omagh producer.

Fleshed Friesian cows sold to £128 for 780kg (£998-40) for an Omagh producer.

Fat bulls sold to £1624 for a selling to a top of £150 per 100kg for a 860kg Aberdeen Angus (£1290).
