On PSNI Facebook on Wednesday night it emerged that: “We have just arrested a 12-year-old child for riotous behaviour on Clifton Park Avenue.

“We have been there for some hours tonight dealing with this futile activity.

“How much has this young man damaged his future prospects by getting involved in this senseless behaviour?

“We will continue to take positive proactive action when and where we can so that the residents in these areas can live in peace.

“Know where your children are and what they’re up to”.
