Pubs and restaurants across Northern Ireland are gearing up to reopen their premises outdoors from Friday, April 30. Licensed and unlicensed premises reopening outdoors There are no rules on having to pre-book before visiting and customers will not have to order a substantial meal in order to be served. A maximum of six people from two households can be seated together although children aged 12 and under are not counted in the total if they all belong to a single household. People may be allowed indoors only to access toilet facilities, to select food or to pay so long as social distancing is maintained.

Beer gardens will also reopen their doors tomorrow across NI. All licensed and unlicensed venues must collect customer details to comply with the Test, Trace, Protect contact tracing programme.
