I’m currently living in Killadeas, Co.Fermanagh and I am married (10 years in November) to Gareth Grey who runs Tickety Moo ice cream.

I’m also a proud Mum of three kids: Wilson (8) and twin girls (3) Julia & Jessica. Life has been very busy since the twins came along but Wilson is a great help and the house is always full of fun.

I love exercising, especially running and find it a great way to clear my head after a busy day.

It’s important to always find time for yourself to recharge and be ready and fresh the next day.

I was Miss Northern Ireland in 2008 and have had brilliant opportunities from this, travelling to South Africa for Miss World being one of the highlights and I have continued to model for ACA Models since then.

Can you describe your personal style?

Day to day if I’m at home I would opt for jeans and a top, something comfortable but I also love any excuse to get dressed up.

After having kids I found I lost sight of fashion and trends for a while as so much focus was on them but as they are getting a bit more independent I’m finding I’m back to really enjoying fashion and following the latest styles.

Where do you find style inspiration?

I would follow a lot of style bloggers on instagram - @kerrysweekdaywardrobe and @primiavie who give honest reviews on clothes sourced locally and from online.

I also love Rosie Huntington-Whiteleys style. Classic and elegant.

Do you read fashion magazines, and if so which ones?

In all honestly I don’t as find when I do get to relax in the evening when kids are in bed ill watch a movie or series with my husband.

What is the best style advice you’ve received and who gave it to you?

One tip I always remember and still use is from ACA Models boss and friend Alison Clarke.

When I first entered the Miss NI competition I hadn’t a clue about what shoes went with what outfit.

She told me how much she loved court shoes and how they go with anything, helping elongate the legs, as some sandals can cut you off at the ankles.

I now always wear a court shoe now if out for drinks or dinner with a dress or trousers - you can’t go wrong with them.

What’s the oldest item in your wardrobe and what’s so special about it?

I tend to do a wardrobe overhaul every year and would give to my local charity shop the things I know I wont wear again.

I suppose all of my Miss NI/Miss World dresses hold a very special place in my heart and will never leave the wardrobe.

Hopefully one day my daughters will get use out of them!

What was your worst fashion mistake?

When I was at school the big wide flared jeans were all the rage and looking back they were hideous on but I remember being so excited to have a pair!

What’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought clothing wise?

When I won Miss NI, myself and my mum went into Cruise in Victoria Square.

I fell in love with black Dolce and Gabbana dress. It was expensive but fitted like a glove and I have worn it lots of times. It was a good investment and a special dress.

Whats your favourite item of clothing and why?

I love a good pair of white jeans with a blazer. AThis is a staple look which I always go for if unsure what to wear.

I love neutrals but I also love a dash of colour. I recently got a pair of red Armani Jeans from Grahams Womenwear in Enniskillen.

They are fab to dress up with heels or down with pumps and add a lovely bit of colour!

What shoes do you wear most often?

Day to day I live in pumps - rain hail or shine!

What are your fashion pet hates?

I wouldn’t be a fan of crop tops, I’ve yet to see them flatter anyones shape.

Who are your style heroes?

As said previously I love Rosie Huntington – Whiteley’s classic style. I also love Pippa O’Connor’s style – I purchased a pair of her POCO jeans and they are so comfortable.

What fragrance do you wear?

Calvin Klein – Eurphoria.

I always wear a small pendant necklace which is special to me and then add some small earrings day to day. For my 30th birthday I got a beautiful watch in Mercers Jewellers , Enniskillen and its perfect accessory for any outfit.

Do you think you can be fashionable without spending a lot of money?

Definitely. I love a bargain and love telling people of my bargains!

If you wear it with confidence it makes all the difference.
