Police are appealing for information about missing 24-year-old Trang Houng Tran, a Vietnamese woman who has been missing since November 30, 2014.

The young woman was last seen around 9.10pm on November 30 in Ulsterville Avenue in south Belfast.

Inspector Gordon Wilkinson said: “Although a number of enquiries have been carried out by officers, this woman has yet to be located and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare as time goes by.

“Trang is described as being approximately 5 feet tall, of a slim build with brown hair and brown eyes. Trang was last seen wearing a black padded jacket and black leggings. She also has a distinctive ‘smiley face’ tattoo on her hand which is about the size of a 50 pence coin.

“If anybody has any information about Trang Houng Tran’s whereabouts, please contact Police by telephoning 101 or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
