Apprentice Boys appoint new lieutenant governor

The Apprentice Boys of Derry have appointed a new lieutenant governor who will act as deputy to the loyal order’s governor Jim Brownlee.

Graeme Stenhouse takes over from Ronnie McCausland, who had served seven years in the post.

The appointment was ratified by a general committee meeting in the Maiden City.

Mr Stenhouse was installed at a ceremony inside the Walls of Londonderry.
