Armed men rob Co Armagh off-licence

Two men armed with a knife and a baseball bat have robbed an off-licence in Co Armagh.

The robbery happened at the shop on the Gilford Road in Portadown at around 9.40pm on Monday.

The men entered the shop and threatened staff before making off with cash and a small sum of cigarettes.

They were dressed in hooded tops, scarves and gloves and made off in the direction of the Carrickblacker Road.

The staff members were not hurt in the incident, but police have said they were left badly shaken.
