The Met Office has warned people across Northern Ireland to be prepared for ex-Hurricane Ophelia after an Amber warning for strong winds was issued.

Gust of up to 80mph are expected and the warning is in place from 3pm to 10pm. Schools across Northern Ireland have been closed and there is potential for major travel disruption, potential power cuts, large waves in coastal areas and flying debris.
