It has been confirmed as that of 66-year-old Norman Galbraith, who went missing in July last year.
Detective Sergeant Gallagher said: “Police can confirm that the body found in the Bravallan Road area of Ballymoney on Thursday, 14 April has been identified as 66-year-old Norman Galbraith who went missing at the end of July 2015.
“Mr Galbraith’s family would ask media to respect their privacy at this very sad time.”
