Bank makes changes at the top level

Newly appointed Danske Bank chief executive Kevin Kingston has made a number of changes to the management of the bank’s business unit.

Until recently Mr Kingston had been the company’s managing director of business banking.

Shaun McAnee will now step into the role of managing Director of corporate banking, while Richard Caldwell has been appointed as managing director of business banking.

The changes effectively reorganise Danske Bank’s Business Banking unit along two lines – Corporate Banking and Business Banking. Kevin Kingston said the new structure would further strengthen the Bank’s commitment to supporting its business customers: “Reorganising the teams across SME and Corporate Banking was a logical move to ensure that we continue to stay close to our customers and maintain our high customer satisfaction levels.

“Shaun and Richard are both very experienced and each will bring a strong customer focus to their new role. It is testament to the strength of our Business Banking division that I have been fortunate enough to be able to appoint new Managing Directors for the unit from within the existing team.”
