Christmas has arrived early at Bryson Group thanks to “Mrs Claus” Eleanor McAvoy, Chief Executive of Budget Energy.
Budget Energy has donated £4,000 to support Bryson Group’s work, particularly in helping vulnerable families to have a warm and cosy Christmas.
Bryson Group is a leading NI social enterprise tackling major social and economic challenges including fuel poverty, supporting vulnerable children and families, recycling and helping young people to build their self-confidence and find employment through skills development and sport led activity.
“Fuel poverty is an issue which is close to my heart, especially at a time of year when money is tight and the weather is at its worst,” said Budget Energy CEO Eleanor McEvoy.
“Budget Energy is delighted to do our bit to help make this a warmer, happier Christmas for those who are in most need and to support the great work being done by Bryson Group.”
Bryson CEO John McMullan said: “We want to thank Budget Energy and Eleanor for this donation. This is extremely welcome, particularly at this time of the year when families and individuals are struggling to make ends meet.
“We work hard to support families through our work, which includes tackling fuel poverty. This donation will help us to provide even more support to vulnerable families and individuals coming up to Christmas.”
