Representatives from medical diagnostics firm Randox Laboratories accompanied the Camerata Ireland Orchestra on a tour of China recently.
The global firm, which is headquartered in County Antrim, used the time to meet with a number of business partners.
The tour comes on the back of the Chinese President Xi Jinpinga’s recent visit to the UK and a five-day Northern Irish trade mission took place in China, during which Enterprise minister Jonathan Bell said that relationship building is key to winning business in China, and that Northern Irish companies should “nurture lasting partnerships”.
Mark Campbell, Senior Manager at Randox Laboratories said: “Accompanying the talented Camerata Ireland orchestra across China allows Randox the opportunity to simultaneously support our young Irish musicians in their careers while also strengthening key business relationships and promoting exports.
“Supporting Camerata has given us the chance to meet with existing and potential business partners and customers, and during the Camerata China tour we have been hosting a number of high profile delegates from all over China.”
