The Outlet, Banbridge has welcomed the first bb’s coffee and muffins store in Northern Ireland.

This will be the 50th store in the UK and Ireland for the Irish owned company and will represent a significant investment which has created 11 full and part time jobs.

The opening of bb’s at The Outlet follows the recent arrival of international golfing brand Golf Nation, as well as the recent expansion of Bedeck, Denby and Regatta stores.

bb’s commissioned Mark Lawson Bell, to design the interior of the new store using as his inspiration the annual Buskfest event held in Banbridge.

Mark has created a space that features quirky and clever references to busking such as wall hats with coins, to a large print of a vintage ’street quarter’ at the service counter.

Welcoming the opening of the bb’s at The Outlet, Chris Nelmes, Centre Manager, said:

“We are delighted to welcome the opening of bb’s at The Outlet and we are even more delighted that they chose us as the site for their first store in Northern Ireland and their 50th store in UK & Ireland.

The brand will be a fantastic addition to our existing food offering, in a unique setting, which will provide even more choice for our visitors as they enjoy their day out with us.”

Andrew Moyes, CEO of bb’s commented:

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank The Outlet for all their help and support with the opening of our first store in Northern Ireland and our 50th store in our portfolio. It’s not only a fantastic location and fit for the brand but we are delighted that we can show off bb’s character through our unique, locally themed store décor.

“We hope visitors enjoy their bb’s experience and we look forward to welcoming everyone to the new store.”
