IT deal good news for local SME’s

The international software corporation SAP is entering the Northern Ireland IT market.

The company, which operates in 130 countries worldwide, is partnering with Craigavon based technology company, FUEL.

Headquartered in Walldorf, Germany, SAP is the world’s 24th most valuable IT brand in the world and is a global leader in enterprise software with almost 80 per cent of its customers using SAP Business One solutions.

The company has projected growth of 25 per cent across its SME markets this year and with its new partner FUEL having a strong footprint across key growth industries including agri-food, manufacturing & engineering and healthcare services they see Northern Ireland as a key market to establish and build strong foundations.

FUEL which has achieved on average 30 per cent growth in new market share across Ireland and the UK over the last few years is Northern Ireland’s only Sage 200 online and IBM Business Partner. Over the past 21 years the company has continued to grow, develop and evolve its offering in line with a very fluid IT sector and the partnership with SAP further supports its strategy of gaining market share providing innovative solutions that enable SME’s to maximise efficiency and drive profitable growth.
