Cookstown-based energy provider LCC Power is to rebrand to Go Power in a move designed to align the business with its fuel company ‘Go’.
Effective from the start of August, the firm said the move reflects the increased confidence within the business which recently reported profits of £19.3m for the year ending September 2014.
In addition, the energy provider section of the company, LCC Power, now enjoys around a 20 per cent market share within the Northern Ireland business market and is established as one of top performing firms in the province.
The Cookstown-based business has enjoyed a period of continuous growth within its gas and electricity provision and now has more than 35 Go stations operating across the province and most recently in Dublin.
“Due to the success and positive public response to the ‘Go’ branding within our fuel-based forecourts, we felt the interests of the business would be best served by creating a formalised approach to branding,” said director Shauna Forbes.
“It will allow us to grow further, providing competitive prices and first class customer service to our clients.”
The independent LCC Group was established in 1986, and became LCC Power in 2012. Staff numbers have risen from seven to 55 in the past year.
