One person has died in the last 24 hours with COVID-19 in Northern Ireland.

The latest death happened in the Ards and North Down council area, acording to the latest daily statistics released by Stormont’s Department of Health.

That brings the death toll here to 547.

The statistics also reveal that two further cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed here in the last 24 hours.

These occurred in the Ards and North Down and Belfast council areas.

Meanwhile 2 people are now fighting for their lives with COVID-19 in Intensive Care.
