Ballymena bar stabbings: two men charged

Two men are expected to appear in Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Monday in connection with stabbings in a Ballymena bar in the early hours of Saturday.

The men, aged 21 and 24, have been charged with a number of offences including wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon following the Henry Street bar incident during which a 32-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman were stabbed.

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to this crime to contact them on 101.
