A man has been taken to hospital in the wake of a crash in Co Antrim.

It happened before 7pm on the Dublin Road, which runs between the south-east of Antrim town and Belfast International Airport.

The road, a main thoroughfare, was shut between the Airport Road (just on the northern edge of the airport) and Ballyarnot Road.

Shortly after 11pm, the PSNI said the Dublin Road had re-opened.

They gave no indication of the severity of the man’s injuries.
