Crimewatch UK appeal over murder of Carrickfergus man Glenn Quinn

A fresh appeal for information over the murder of Carrickfergus man Glenn Quinn will be made on BBC Crimewatch UK this morning.

Police say Detective Chief Inspector Darren McCartney is due to make the appeal when he appears on the 9.15am episode.

Mr Quinn’s body was discovered in a flat at Ashleigh Park in the Woodburn area of the town on Saturday, January 4.

Police launched a murder investigation after it was revealed the 47-year-old was the victim of a “violent and unprovoked attack”.

A Facebook campaign, Justice for Glenn Quinn, has since been set up by friends of Mr Quinn acting on behalf of his family.
