Haulier dies in accident

A Dromara haulier in his sixties has died after an accident on Friday.

It is understood that Will Sloan of Sloan Transport, Dromara, suffered a fall while working with a lorry.

Mr Sloan lived on the Howe Road.

A PSNI spokesman said it received a report of the sudden death of a man in his sixties at the Royal Victoria Hospital following an incident at a property in the Dromara area on the afternoon of Friday, December 19.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

Details of the funeral have not yet been confirmed.
