A family returning from holiday had a sickening shock when they discovered their home had been broken into and vandalised.
Police were called to a home in the Warren Park Drive area of Lisburn today (Friday, August 19) following the discovery.
The back door of the property was broken open and the house wrecked, even the baby's cot was destroyed.
The residents had just returned from a week's holiday to be met by the sickening sight of a ransacked home with threatening graffiti on the wall.
Police said the occupants had no idea why this would happen to them and their young family.
A sookesman added: "Someone out there knows something about this and we would appeal for you to get in touch with us via 101 and quote serial 579, 19/08/16, and give us any information you have."
