Hooded men sought after man stabbed at Belfast home

A 28-year-old man has been stabbed in the arm at the front door of his home by a gang of four hooded males.

Police, who are appealing for information about the incident which happened in the Strathroy Park area of North Belfast which they were made aware of around 6.15pm yesterday (November 25), said the man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

Inspector McCullough said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact Tennent Street Police Station on the non emergency number 101.

“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
