Man arrested after house burgled at gunpoint

Police are appealing for witnesses after the aggravated burglary of a house in Earlscourt Street, west Belfast.

The incident took place last night (Friday) around 8.50pm when three men forced their way into the house brandishing a gun and making demands.

They made off on foot, two along Earlscourt Street and the other towards Cavendish Street.

A 31-year-old man was arrested in west Belfast later that night and is in police custody.
