A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a collision on the M1.

A PSNI spokesman said one car was involved in the incident on the east-bound carriageway between Junctions 9 and 10 shortly before 1pm on Sunday.

The arrest comes days after Environment Minister Mark H Durkan launched a DOE anti drink driving campaign with a new television advert specifically targeting 18-24 year old males.

The new campaign - which is being promoted heavily on social media - spells out the legal consequences of being caught drink driving from imprisonment, to losing your licence and having to re-take your test.
