A 28-year-old man was detained on Saturday following a stabbing in north-west Belfast.
It happened in the Glencairn Way area of the city at around 1.40am on Saturday.
The victim received stab wounds to his arm, although the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The 28-year-old was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
A PSNI spokesperson added: “I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact Detectives at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
