A man has been charged with a string of offences after a scare at an east Belfast primary school.

At around 11.30pm on Friday, the 33-year-old was charged with threats to kill, misuse of electronic communications, criminal damage, and possession of class B drugs.

He is due to appear in Belfast magistrates’ court on Saturday.

It is in relation to “malicious telecommunications” linked to Elmgrove primary in east Belfast.
