A 54-year-old man is expected to appear in Ards Magistrates court on Monday charged with possession of class B controlled drugs and possession of class B controlled drugs with intent to supply in connection with a planned search of a property in Millisle on Friday (November 12).
Detectives from Organised Crime Branch arrested two men following the planned search of a property.
A second man arrested, a 39-year-old, has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Detective Inspector Alan Pyper said. “The arrests were made following a planned search of a house which resulted in the seizure of approximately £60,000 of suspected cannabis.
“There can be no place for illegal drugs in our communities and this seizure is an indication of our commitment to removing drugs from circulation. Through seizures of this nature, we are protecting the community from the harm drugs can cause.
“The misery drugs cause to communities, to families and to those who get involved in drugs cannot be measured. We will continue to disrupt and arrest those involved in the sale and supply of drugs in an effort to bring these individuals before the courts.”
