A 28-year-old man who was arrested on Sunday (December 20) by detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating the murder of Paul McCauley in 2006, has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
The man was released on Monday evening.
Mr McCauley was attacked and beaten by a loyalist mob in Londonderry in 2006.
He died in June, nine years after the attack.
Detectives investigating his murder have so far arrested 13 people for questioning.
