Man shot at house in Ardoyne

A man has been shot in the upper body at a house in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast.

The incident took place in the Cranbrook Gardens area shortly after 9pm last night.

The victim is reported to be aged in his 30s. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Sinn Fein councillor Gerard McCabe described the shooting as “wrong” and a “futile” act.
