Men arrested after crime spree

Two men have been arrested after a robbery at a commercial premises in the Cavehill Road area and the attempted robbery of a licensed premises on the Antrim Road on January 16. The incidents in north Belfast happened at 9.45pm and 9.55pm on Friday. The pair - aged 37-years and 30-years - were arrested after a police patrol on the Antrim Road spotted the men leaving a licensed premises, and one matched the description of the culprit from the previous robbery. When the men were challenged by police it was discovered they were armed with a knife and a hammer.
