Pair charged with indecency offences after incident near Belfast city centre

A 51-year-old man and a woman aged 34 have been charged with indecent behaviour after a weekend incident in the Markets area of Belfast.

Police have said they were alerted to the behaviour of the pair on Saturday evening.

As well as indecent behaviour, the woman has also been charged with exposure.

They are both due before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday (September 14) police have said.

In keeping with standard practice, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
