Police investigating the murder of Antrim woman Pauline Carmichael recovered her body from the shore of Lough Neagh

Detectives investigating the murder of a 61-year-old Antrim woman have been granted more time to question a suspect.

Pauline Carmichael disappeared from her home on Monday and was found dead at Lough Neagh on Wednesday.

The officers from Serious Crime Branch gained extra time to question a man (aged 37) who they had arrested.

They can now hold him until Friday.
