Some west Belfast residents know who murdered a father-of-five in over 15 years ago, police have said.
Michael O’Callaghan, 39, was stabbed to death during a house party at Norglen Parade in March, 2000.
No one has ever been charged with the killing which is being reviewed by the PSNI’s legacy investigation branch.
Launching a fresh appeal for information, Detective Chief Inspector Peter Montgomery said: “There are people out there who know what happened and we know they have information which could help us bring people before the court.”
Police were called to the scene at 12.34am on Sunday, March 13 that year.
When officers arrived they found Mr O’Callaghan lying in a pool of blood. He had been stabbed in the chest.
Two men and a woman were arrested, but were not charged.
