Shankill street robbery leaves OAP with suspected dislocated arm


A pensioner has suffered a suspected dislocated arm after she was robbed of her handbag in a street robbery in Belfast today.

The 79-year-old woman was knocked to the ground by an unknown person on the Shankill Road around 1.55pm.

The robber then stole her handbag before making off on foot in the direction of the Shankill Estate. The victim sustained her arm injury plus a bump to her head.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them by phoning 101.
