Shots fired at house in Co Tyrone


A couple have been left shaken after hearing shots being fired outside their home in Pomeroy in Co Tyrone.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a shooting incident at the residential property on the Tandragee Road in the village around 10.30pm on February 6.

PSNI later found four strike marks on the wall of the house.

A motive for the incident has not yet been established and all lines of inquiry are being investigated at this time.

Detective Sergeant Brian Maxwell said: “I appeal to anyone who was in the area of Tandragee Road on Friday night and witnessed the incident or noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area to contact detectives in Cookstown on the non-emergency number 101 or alternatively Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
