Shots fired at property in ‘reckless attack’ in residential area in early hours - PSNI appeal for information on attack ‘which could have had devastating consequences’

Detectives are investigating a report of shots fired in the Forthriver Crescent area of Belfast during the early hours of yesterday (Saturday 13th June).

Detective Sergeant O’Flaherty said: “It was reported that shots were fired at a property sometime between 3am and 3.30am.

“Damage was caused to a window but, thankfully, no injuries were reported.

“Our investigation continues and we are working to establish a motive for this reckless attack, which could have had devastating consequences.
