An 18-year-old man was thrown from his bed and assaulted by an armed robber in his north Belfast home in the early hours of Sunday (March 15). The assailant, who was armed with a knife, made off with a laptop and mobile phone after ransacking a number of rooms in the Crumlin Road property.

A PSNI spokesman said the teenage victim, a man and a woman who were in the property at the time were left shaken but otherwise uninjured.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Musgrave CID on 101.
