Three hurt in north Down accident


Police closed down part of a main road on Friday morning following a two-vehicle crash.

The accident was reported to police at around 9am, and happened on the Belfast-bound carriageway of the West Circular Road in Bangor.

Police were in attendance for around one hour, and they said that three people involved had been hurt.

Their injuries were all described as minor.

As of 10.10am, the road had re-opened.
