Three men arrested after assault in west Belfast

Three men have been arrested following an early morning assault in west Belfast

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital after the incident at a flat on the Suffolk Road around 3am on Saturday.

He is said to have suffered a number of injuries. The three men arrested are aged 24, 27 and 50.

A PSNI spokesman said: “Police enquiries into the incident are at an early stage and detectives are keen to hear from witnesses or anyone else who can assist with the investigation. They can be contacted by calling 101.
