Two men and a woman arrested in connection with a paramilitary display at the funeral and wake of Peggy O’Hara in Londonderry have been released unconditionally.

The trio - a 43-year-old woman, a 44-year-old man and a 57-year-old man - were arrested in the city on Wednesday.

Police are conducting an investigation into a paramilitary show of strength at the funeral involving up to 50 masked men and women.

Mrs O’Hara was the mother of INLA man Patsy O’Hara who died on hunger strike in Long Kesh in 1981.
