A 36-year-old woman who was arrested in north Belfast this morning by detectives investigating the 2001 murder of a man with learning difficulties, has been released unconditionally.

David Clarke, 26, was found battered to death at his north Belfast flat in June 2001.

Police believe Mr Clarke, described as vulnerable and inoffensive, had been bullied in the weeks leading up to his death.

It is understood a number of people were in his property at Forthriver Road on the night he was killed.
