The PUP has said drug abuse is a dangerous to loyalist communities as the violence of the Troubles.
The party issued the claim after it said its activists discovered needles and other drug paraphernalia in the Brownstown Park area of Portadown.
The finds were “substantial evidence of hard drug use in the area”, it said, adding that the details have been passed to police.
In a statement, the PUP’s John Stevenson said “those who abuse themselves with drugs are now in the process of abusing the community they live within”.
It added: “The PUP fully support a zero tolerance campaign to dealers and users alike.
“The selling and misuse of illegal drugs in whatever form is viewed by us to be as damaging to our community as anything that republicans have ever done.”
