Tis the season to support local at Comber Farmers' Market

Comber Farmers' Market celebrates Christmas on Thursday, December 7th and visitors will have the opportunity to stock up for Christmas with the very finest locally grown, handmade produce and lots of unique Christmas gifts for family and friends.

28 local producers will be getting into the holiday spirit selling everything required for the perfect Christmas dinner and party season.

Springmount Farm will be selling free range eggs, Horner’s Farm Shop will be stocking seasonal fruit and vegetables including fresh cranberries, the Krazi Baker, Go Yeast, and Poacher’s Pocket will have a range of artisan breads, mince pies, stollen, and Christmas puddings, Kennedy Bacon and Fort Hill Farm will be selling award winning hams, bacons, beef, and cocktail sausages, Tom and Ollie will have olives, pates, tapenades, and cheeses, Something Fishy from Portavogie will be selling fresh fish and prawns; and the Uncommon Garden will have beautiful gifts to buy of potted plants, shrubs and bulbs.

Handmade chocolate, baked goods, jams, chutneys, granola, sauces, drinks, cheeses, Christmas trees and wreaths will also be for sale.

In addition, there will be choir performances from St Mary’s PS at 10.00am and Andrews Memorial PS at 11.00am.

With the chance to win a Christmas hamper packed with produce from the market and a special visit from Santa and Mrs Claus, it will be well worth a trip to Comber on December 7th, 2017 at St Mary’s Parish Church car park, Comber Square, 9.00am to 1.00pm.
