Firemen attacked with petrol bombs in north-west

Firefighters came under attack in Strabane on Sunday.

It began when petrol bombs were thrown at a car in the Dublin Road area at around 4.45am.

Damage was caused to the car and to the front of the house where it was parked.

A number of petrol bombs were then also thrown at the fire crews who attended the call.

There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
