The funeral has taken place of a Belfast grammar school teacher who was discovered dead at her family home on Tuesday.
Lynda O’Kane, who was a form tutor and history teacher at Methodist College, is understood to have lived in the Crumlin area.
Mrs O’Kane was in her early 50s.
Her funeral service took place yesterday at the Chapel of Unity at Methodist College. A death notice for the teacher said he was the “beloved wife of John and loving mother of Catherine, Claire and Cara.
One tribute on Facebook described Mrs O’Kane as “always as helpful as she could have been” and that “she will be missed”.
Another praised her “enthusiasm and inspiring teaching”.
