The daughter of Belfast boxing legend Wayne McCullough recently celebrated her High School Graduation with her family and friends - and even received messages of congratulations from stars like Westlife’s Nicky Byrne, chef Gordon Ramsay, and Northern Ireland born golfer Graeme McDowell!
Seventeen-year-old Wynona Leigh Davis McCullough and her family are currently based in California, but her parents Wayne and Cheryl are from Belfast, and have a proud affiliation with Our Wee Country.
“I celebrated my high school graduation at Pensacola Christian College last weekend,” Wynona told us. “ I was home schooled due to my dad’s boxing career so I managed to gain straight A grades and graduate a year early thanks to my hard work and dedication.
“My mum, dad and I travelled to Pensacola from our home in Los Angeles while other members of my family - my grandma, my auntie and my uncle - travelled from Belfast to celebrate with me.
“I was honoured to receive messages of congratulations from Westlife’s Nicky Byrne, Gordon Ramsay, golfer Graeme McDowell, LL Cool J, my favourite designer Betsey Johnson and my favourite artist Andy Grammer. We spent a few days celebrating in Disney afterwards and I’m now hoping to go to college to study Cosmetology in Santa Monica later this year.”
All the very best for the future Wynona and congratulations on your graduation!
