Ice weather warning issued

The Met Office has issued a yellow status weather warning of ice for all of Northern Ireland.

The warning is valid between 9:00pm on Wednesday (March 7, 2018) and 9:00am on Thursday (March 8, 2018).

"Icy patches are likely to form on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths," reads the warning on the Met Office website.

"Some longer journey times are possible. Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces are possible."
