This is the second year that the RUAS have held the annual agricultural show at the prestigious Balmoral Park premises which showcases a true centre of rural excellence for Northern Ireland.

During her Balmoral visit HRH visited the Northern Ireland Food Pavilion where she met with exhibitors and viewed many tempting displays from Artisan producers as well as farmers supplying the food industry and Agri-food award winners.

HRH then moved on to the Cattle rings where she had the opportunity to view breeds such as Aberdeen Angus, Hereford, British Blue,

Dexter and Irish Moiled cattle being prepared for judging. She also took the opportunity to view the judging of the sheep, pigs and goats exhibits before watching a group of Young Farmer Club members compete in the sheep shearing competition.

During the visit The Princess Royal also had the opportunity to view the judging of the Hunter Classes in the main arena.
