Investigation launched after Translink bus collides with coffee shop

Seven bus passengers escaped injury this morning when the bus they were travelling in collided with a coffee shop in central Belfast.

A Translink spokesperson confirmed the incident happened at 11.30am at Lower North Street.

She said the Metro bus had a "minor collision with a shop awning".

"“There were 7 passengers on board the service, " she added. “There were no injuries.

“Translink has launched an investigation.”
